Church Drop-off

We will be collecting and storing the items at our church, so the easiest way is to make a purchase and drop the item off at the church during one of our weekly drop off times.

Small Group Collections

We encourage small groups of people (Churches, Sunday School Classes, neighborhoods, clubs, etc.) to come together and host a collection for Heyward Gibbes students. You can contact the church once you have collected your items to schedule a drop off time.

Online Donations

If you prefer to make an online donation, you can select the GIVE ONLINE link in the website top menu. This will take you to our online giving portal, just make sure to select the designation "Heyward Gibbes Middle School Items" and 100% of your donation will go to purchasing items for students.

Sizes of Coats

New, Adult sizes only. The table below shows the total number of each size and gender needed to fulfill the need at Heyward Gibbes.

Type of Coats

Warm lightweight coats with hoods (such as a packable puffer jacket (e.g. Spyder brand on Amazon)). Water resistant is required, as students will wear these while waiting for the bus on rainy days.

Small Groups

This is a great opportunity for small groups, clubs, Sunday School classes, and churches to do their own collection of coats. Just drop them off at our church for delivery to Heyward Gibbes.

Dropoff Times

Standard drop-off times will be at Earlewood Baptist Church (2930 River Drive) on Sundays from 6-8pm and Wednesdays from 5-8pm.
